John played college football at San Jose State before signing with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He went on to play in several indoor and arena leagues in the United States and later continued his career in Europe, including stops in Turkey and Slovakia, where he also coached. In 2022, Booker served as the Offensive Coordinator of the Leipzig Kings, and in 2023 he was promoted to Head Coach of the franchise. He will co-serve as General Manager and Offensive Coordinator for the Musketeers in 2026.
