Consecutive Musketeers Wins dating back to 2023

In a captivating Week 3 matchup in Paris, the Paris Musketeers used timely plays and resilience to narrowly defeat the Frankfurt Galaxy. The game was a roller-coaster of emotion, with both teams showing why they should be considered among the top teams in the ELF.

The Musketeers uncharacteristically began the game with two turnovers in the first quarter, which the Galaxy quickly capitalized on, as Galaxy linebacker Daniel Josiah scored a defensive touchdown with a scoop-and-score, setting an early tone. However, the Musketeers quickly responded with a field goal and a 20-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Jordan Genmark Heath on third down. Musketeers quarterback Zach Edwards would finish 15-29 for 240 yards on the day. Paris defensive back Chandler Jones then stepped in front of a pass by Galaxy quarterback Luke Zahradka and returned it deep into Galaxy territory. The turnover led to a 27-yard TD catch by tight end Kevin Mwamba, who scored against his former team for the first time since signing with the Musketeers. The second half was a back and forth battle as the Musketeers’ relentless blitz packages forced the Galaxy into several incompletions. Musketeers running back Jason Aguemon then reeled off a thrilling 14-yard touchdown run, barreling over one defender and spinning into the endzone to give the Musketeers a 25-14 lead. But the Galaxy fought back with a spectacular pass and catch by French wide receiver Kevin Kaya, who spun free and walked into the end zone. A successful two-point conversion brought the score to 25-22 with three minutes left. On the Galaxy’s final drive, Zahradka’s pass was tipped by wide receiver Markell Castle and intercepted by Musketeers defensive back Chandler Jones, sealing the game. The final score of 25-22 marked a thrilling victory for the Musketeers (2-0) and dropped the Galaxy to 0-2 to begin the season.
